So, the long weekend is almost upon us, while it is called . . . Heritage Day, here in Alberta (though commonly referred to as the “August Long Weekend.”
Kim and I have decide to do two things at once, go camping in/near a small town that we have heard about through good friends of ours.
There is a small town south of the town that I live in (45 minutes south) that apparently does a lot of really nifty things this weekend each year.
So, we decided to head out and go camping there this weekend and check it out. It should be fun.
While we were not able to get a campsite reserved, there is an overflow area that we can use.
Since Wanda is pretty much self-contained with solar power and all, we’re fine with that.
It should be a fun weekend, and excuse to get out of town for the weekend, and show my gal the benefits of living in an RV.
At any rate, I am looking forward to the weekend, even if it rains all weekend, as I just want to spend time with my darling dearest.
