In our world these days, we want things to be done right now and in the blink of an eye. For many things that is possible, and that is great.
When it comes to change, however, that is a different matter. When it comes to changing your life and rearranging things within it, that takes time.
This is a good thing, because, for one, it takes time for you to get used to such large changes.
For another, sometimes you can only handle a bit of change at a time. So, make the changes that you are comfortable with right now.
Yet it is important to not just make one little change but a series of small changes. Make it a pattern of change, rather than completely changing your life all in one go.
This way, you will be more able to adapt to this way new way of thinking and doing, and accept your new ways as the new normal.
So, when it comes to change, small steps are good. Do what you can, for now, to better yourself, but keep on doing what you can, each and every day.
