So, today’s blog is late because I slept in. I learned yesterday, we all at work did, that our office is not opening on Fridays.
So, that means that I only work four days a week for the foreseeable future. Thankfully Boss is continuing to pay us for Friday, so we have not taken a pay cut.
Our business has been down considerably over the recent times, and so things have been slow. We still get some orders but almost all of them are over the phone or internet.
I still get the feeling that the general lockdown of the country is coming in a week or two. Or that our office will shut down in around that timeframe.
Until then I will still go to work and be thankful that I can do so. I have been practicing self-isolation for years now, so I’m okay with all of this.
Whatever will happen, will happen, but I will do my part to help stop the spread of this virus.
For now, I have three day weekends and a four day work week. I know this can’t continue for long, as Boss only has so much cash reserves.
