So, here I am on the eve of one payday looking onward to the next. This is what I do, for it is with each payday that I take one more step forward towards my goal.
Yet there are also things, small projects that I want to get done each payday. These are things that will make my life a little bit easier or nicer.
So, there is the struggle between how much and when to do of the little nice things and the overarching savings target and goal.
Somehow, someway I get it done and as long as I get to cross off another “X” for a percentage box on my savings progress chart, I will call it a win.
Okay, there will always be the July 7 payday where I don’t, but that is because I pay my truck insurance all at once and in so doing, save money.
So, here I go, about to take another step forward tomorrow.
