Enjoying my Favourite Word

It’s that wondrous time of the usually cold weather season when people get confused over why it is so warm. The answer is my favourite word: Chinook!

All I know is that it has something to do with wind coming down off of the Rocky Mountains and bringing warm air with it, thus heating up my fair city.

It’s October the 16th and we’re expected to reach 15C today, I’ve seen it be below -20C by now. This ain’t global warming, it’s just a wondrous freak of nature for this part of the world.

All I know is that when these things come down, the weather gets warmer, and I don’t freeze my tuchus off when . . . usually I do.

The other thing I’m enjoying is the short work week. It is already hump day and tomorrow is my last full day of work.

Friday is either: dead and we’re board, or it’s a hair on fire day (as in we’re so busy it’s like we’re running around with our hair on fire.

So, all in all I will just try to take it easy and enjoy the moment. So, I will enjoy the weather and the not so hectic work week.

As always: Keep your head up, your attitude positive, and keep moving forward!
