I made it, just squeaked over the line and just under the wire, but I did it. I made my budgetary minimum yesterday, and I have a day to spare.
Again, this does not change the world but I did make my target for my take home pay.
This means that my actual take home pay will be yet larger than I had expected, and that is always a good thing.
It is always more fun to figure out what to do with “extra money” in a budget than looking for where you can cut to make up a shortfall in a budget (trust me).
As I have said before, this upcoming paycheque will be used to pay off the last of my governmental extortion
(AKA putting the cash back into “My” RRSP that I “Borrowed” from “Myself” in order to fund the last bit of my film schooling) . . . that worked out well.
Regardless, I will put the last amount that I need to put back now, so that all of the extra cash in my budgets can and will go towards saving for my future.
