What...? No Rocky movies ever.? Surely yo...Wait...? What...? No Rocky movies ever.? Surely you jest! In case you are serious, run, don't walk, to your nearest used DVD outlet or wally world and get yourself a copy of Rocky (I) probably for less $ than that mug and money well spent I promise you! It is the visual embodiment of your blog today and many recently. I won't give away too much, but it is all about doggedly pursuing a goal that many (most) people would find completely unrealistic and almost laughable (like debt freedom). Burgess Meredith's performance alone is worth the price of admission! Best of all it was made on, guess what?! An extremely tight budget! Some scenes in public spaces were actually filmed guerrilla style...illegally with no permission or permits (not in the budget!) and several prop department errors were left alone and worked into the script rather than pay to have then re-done. I won't debate the quality of the rest of the franchise, some love them, some not so much, but very positive inspiring messages like the one you mention are peppered throughout. This film will speak to you. Easily in the top 20 of all time great movies.harley9967https://www.blogger.com/profile/03862567531220131904noreply@blogger.com
